Hi there! My name is
Tori Ramataboee
and I build capacity for sports-based social impact programs and projects.

I’m a thought partner & doer: ready for projects at any stage.
Competencies
Project Management
Short-term projects can produce long-term value. In this core competency, I provide general support to manage all phases of a project. I also have expertise in managing scope, time, communication, and integration.
Program Design
Mission-driven work requires strategic program design. I enhance program effectiveness through research, planning, and curriculum and training development.
Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning
Data drives social impact. I create evaluation tools and collect and analyze data to increase effectiveness and help communicate impact.
Adult Learning Facilitation
Modernized learning environments require both in-person and virtual engagement. I utilize a human-centered approach to create connection and optimize learning experiences.
Events
Events are time-consuming. I work with a range of budgets to plan and execute inclusive and engaging events with keen organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
Grant Management
Grant-giving and grant-funded organizations require responsible stewardship of resources. I create and manage the grant lifecycle activities from both standpoints.
Learn More
“Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.”
Henry David Thoreau
There are various experiences that have distinctly shaped my worldview and how I move through my career and personal life. These moments are full of meaning and growth, and I hope they resonate with you.
Youth Sports
Not only did I try many sports growing up, I had a great time doing it (except for when I wanted to quit cross country after the first practice). All I wanted was to have fun and be with friends, and am the same way today. Okay, I might be a little competitive, too.
2010 World Cup
I studied abroad in a program called “FIFA 2010 World Cup: Globalization, Sport, and Development” and was forever changed. By the games, the people, the culture, and the transformative power of sport.
Peace Corps Lesotho
As a health and youth development volunteer, I worked with the Anti-Drug Abuse Association of Lesotho (ADAAL) to prevent and mitigate the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic on youth and families. An invaluable lesson I learned was the importance of listening to and learning from the individuals and communities I work with.
Diversity & Inclusion Office
Working at a medical school helped me understand the significance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) for recruiting and retaining young people into STEM careers. The need for access and representation permeates many industries and systems, and it is my conviction to always work with DEIB in mind.
The Global Pandemic
An isolating time marked by unrest, stress, and disruption. While I learned a lot about the importance of self-care and community, I also took on projects that made programs, resources, and events more accessible to those who needed them most. There is value in consistently identifying how to best support stakeholders and building community in different contexts.
United for Girls
Fortunate to lead the facilitation of this three-year initiative, I oversaw the selection, activities, and impact reporting of a cohort that collaboratively identified effective strategies for attracting and retaining girls and women coaches in youth sports programming. Supporting girls and women in sports is a passion of mine.
Parenthood
I love to talk about parenthood, inclusive of all its myths and realities, highs and lows. It reinvigorated how I show up and support individuals and communities, and also how I advocate for the protection, dignity, and respect of youth and women.
So Now What?
Weaving my unique skills through various professional contexts, I enjoy the pursuit of building knowledge and capacity within organizations and systems so that youth, families, and communities can thrive.
