Just a Bit About Tori
Originally from Michigan, I am now based in the Washington, DC area with my little family and frenchie. Service is a part of who I am – a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Lesotho and coach to young girls across multiple sports. On weekends you can catch me sipping oat milk lattes, exploring the outdoors, or watching sports.
I specialize in services that support equitable and inclusive programs and resources, having worked in nonprofits, social impact, sports, and sports-based youth development for 10+ years. My education is in both sport management and social work, from which I’ve adapted my unique skills and knowledge to various practice areas and contexts.
At this moment there are a lot of exciting events and developments in the North American sports space. I strongly believe now, more than ever, is the time to harness the power of sport to unite, educate, and empower individuals and communities for social progress. Let’s write the next chapter in sports history.
Thriving Together
Harnessing strengths to maximize impact.
When strengths align, our ability to create impactful solutions is unstoppable. Transparency is kind and equitable, so I am sharing the unique blend of traits that greatly shape my approach to work:
Myers-Briggs, ENFJ — I thrive on building authentic relationships and facilitating open communication. With a focus on empathy and understanding, I’m committed to guiding teams toward shared goals and delivering results that exceed expectations.
Enneagram, 3 — I embody the qualities of adaptability, ambition, and a strong work ethic. Whether it’s leading teams or tackling challenges independently, I am dedicated to achieving tangible results while focusing on continuous improvement.
Sparketype, Maker & Maven — I thrive on the dual roles of creating and educating. Whether it’s designing new products, processes, and experiences, or sharing insights and expertise with others, I cultivate innovation and help those around me feel empowered to reach their fullest potential.
The Sorting Hat, Hufflepuff — My hard work, loyalty, and patience help foster a spirit of inclusivity and teamwork while building trust and reliability in my role. Collaboration and a stakeholder-centric approach enable me to prioritize needs that ensure stakeholders feel valued and satisfied.
